Exclusive or Non Exclusive AGENCY AGREEMENT

When to use this agreement

sales agents and principal An Agency Agreement is used when an ‘agent’ is hired to find customers for, and sell the products or services of a ‘principal’ party, and is payed for this service on a commission basis.

Outlined in this document are the terms and conditions under which the agent is appointed by the principal. The document can be modified to reflect an exclusive or non-exclusive territory. Should a dispute arise or should the other party fail to fulfil its contractual obligations, an agency agreement provides strong legal recourse.
